FLUID FLOW ANALYSIS DETAILS
Fluid flow problems such as water hammer and slug flow can have detrimental effect on piping and supports/restraints. If piping is not properly supported and restrained for dynamic forces, connecting equipment can be damaged. We analyze systems and recommend routing and support/restraint modifications to protect equipment. We also make recommendations to reduce the chances of water hammer or slug flow occurring (install eccentric reducers before pumps, prevent sagging in long piping spans, etc.)
