FAILURE ANALYSIS
FAILURE ANALYSIS DETAILS
We have experience analyzing failures and their causes. Common failures we see include pipe cracking, overloaded equipment nozzles, damaged supports/restraints, damaged equipment (pumps, turbines, etc), and damaged expansion joints.
PROBLEM SOLVING
When analyzing failures, we look at the system as a whole to determine the cause of the failure and make changes as needed to prevent future failures. Common analysis methods to determine failure causes include vibration readings, pipe stress analysis, pressure vessel nozzle analysis, etc. Once we determine the cause of a failure, we make recommendations to prevent the failure from reoccurring such as additional supports/restraints, routing changes, adding expansion joints, etc.
